R 45 000 Towards The Establishment Of A Computer Centre

Iqraa Trust has provided funding towards the establishment of a computer centre for Al-Azhar Institute of Paarl that was officially opened by Mr. Mahmoud Youssef Baker, The Chairman of Iqraa Trust.

Al-Azhar Institute of Paarl is situated in the Western Cape and was established in 1997. The school provides a vital service to learners from the lower income group and has 228 learners enrolled from Grade 0 to Grade 12.

The new computer centre will enable learners to gain an understanding of Information Technology, using the internet and networking. It will empower learners with computer skills and also help sustain their interest in Information Technology as they progress to higher levels of education.
