The Learnership Program with LIMCO

LIMCO Consulting, Iqraa Trust and MICT SETA are continuing to provide accredited training Learnership programmes for one year that combines theoretical studies and practical training at various work places. The program helps in creating jobs in a meaningful way.
This year, we have offered a learnership program allocated to 95 young learners with physical disabilities, 45 learners from Durban and 50 from Johannesburg. The 95 learners are distributed over 4 classes, two classes business administration, one call center and one basic IT.
The interviews were conducted at our offices and the offices of the Kids Haven organization in Johannesburg. Kids Haven is one of the organisation’s supported by Iqraa Trust. The programs have already started in both cities.

In May 2017 we conducted the 2016 program for 92 young learners distributed over 4 classes, two business administration, one IT support and one film and media production. About 90% of them have been offered permanent employment by the workplaces where they had their practical training.
