St Monica’s Children’s Home (Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal)

Donation Of R 100,000 Towards The Improvements Of The Home

project St-MonicaIqraa Trust provided a grant of R 100 000 to St Monica’s Children’s Home to enable it to undertake much needed renovations to the residential facilities for the children in its care. St Monica’s Home was established in 1895 and is located in Durban. Currently the Home provides a safe environment for 84 children placed in its care. The Home’s residential care and development programmes enable children to reach their full potential by constructively meeting their physical, emotional and intellectual needs at each developmental stage in their lives. The ultimate goal is to unify the children with their families and/or within their communities.
