It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the upgraded website of IQRAA Trust (South Africa).
Our mission is to uplift the quality of life of all South Africans by promoting and supporting humanitarian programmes that are designed to help those who are most in need, to help themselves. We intend to use the resources that are placed at our disposal to develop and fund solutions that will empower people irrespective of race, colour or creed. We work to equip them with skills so that they can contribute to growth and development in South Africa and to share in the benefits of building a better society for all. During your visit to our website, you will realize that we are focused mainly on addressing the key issues of poverty, unemployment, education and healthcare which still represent the most serious challenges facing South Africa.
Legal Status and Registrations
IQRAA Trust is registered as a trust in terms of the legislation in South Africa. Therefore the policies, activities and delegation of authority comply with the provisions of the Trust Deed.
Iqraa Trust is registered as a Non Profit Organization(NPO) with the Department of Social Development and Welfare.
IQRAA Trust is a registered Public Benefit Organization with the South African Revenue Services (SARS) in South Africa.
Iqraa Trust has been granted Section 18A status by SARS which would entitle a taxpayer (individual, company, close corporation or trust) to deduct annually donations to Iqraa Trust not exceeding 5% of taxable income.
